Question by Troy D: Digital camera shows low battery with new batteries?
I have a Kodak DX6440 digital camera. I just put new batteries that were fully charged in it and it shows low battery. I know the batteries are ok because they just came off the charger, I tried 2 others just to make sure it wasn’t defective batteries but it’s still doing it. The batteries are the hight volt ones especially made for digital cameras. Please serious answers, no “there is something wrong with your camera” since that’s obvious. Only answer if you know what it might be….

Most point and shoot cameras have no optical view finder. You will use the LCD screen to view the subject that you are photographying. For one thing, I would like to caution you on buying a second hand camera from bidding sites. If you really want to buy a used camera check with a reputable camera store that sells them. They check them out before they buy them. Actually, you may be better off saving up an additional 75 or 100 bucks and buy a new camera that would come with a 1 year warranty. Good luck.

Samsung MV800 Flip Out Camera: Hands On

Samsung MV800 Camera Will Make You Flip Out!!! Remember Samsung’s DualView compact digital cameras that featured miniature LCD panels embedded in the front of the camera for taking accurate self-portrait shots? Today, Samsung has taken that philosophy to the next level with the introduction of the MV800. The Samsung MV800 is equipped with a 3.0″ touch-screen Flip-out LCD display. However, this is not your typical horizontally revolving LCD–the Samsung MV800′s LCD flips up vertically a full 180 degrees to give shooters a 3-inch LCD view right above the lens for the ultimate self portraits. The Samsung MV800 will bring on a 16-megapixel 1/2.3-inch CCD sensor, 26mm wide 5x optical zoom Schneider-KREUZNACH lens and offer full touchscreen LCD operation. 720p HD video recording in the MPEG-4 format is noted in the release, and I assume it will be 30fps. Fun-filled features riddle the MV800, starting with Live Panorama, which enables the shooter to preview the shot For more tech goodness, check us out at: http:///www.technobuffalo.com Follow Us on Twitter: www.twitter.com Like Us on Facebook: www.facebook.com Check Us Out on Google + bit.ly

Question by solaris: Hey Everyone! Camera query – needs URGENT answering! Cheers!?
I have a “Nikon COOLPIX 5700 Digital Camera”.

It’s American, but is being used in Europe. Whenever I connect it to the computer via a USB, the following message bubble appears:

“A USB device has malfunctioned and is exceeding the power limits of its Hub Port. To re-enable the port, disconnect the Hard Ware and click reset”.

Any help greatly appreciated!

Thanks.

(Have tried Camera on other computers and it HASN’T worked.)

If you are not using a hub then it sounds like you have a fault on either the camera or the usb cable. If it is not under warranty then you should buy a memory card reader and transfer your pictures by removing the memory card from your camera and plugging it into the card reader. You will probably find this is a quicker means of transferring your pictures anyway.
